It would cost Apple a boatload of cash if they have to recall the iphone 4 because of the call drop problem. The PR hit would cost them even more if they don’t do something to fix it besides trying to jam loyal customers for an extra $30 for a “bumper“. People must really love their Apple gadgets to put up with this stuff. I am not an Apple fan but did get an ipod touch as a gift and it is great. And I do respect their company’s success and the fact that they are a debt free company! But I would not buy 1st generation products after this debacle.
